Challenge yourself. What I do is I break my round down into 6 parts. 3 holes each, and I deicde that my handicap is say 6, I will try to play 2 of them in even par and the other 4 in no more than 1 over. That is how I work on getting the number down. When I use to be a 10 I deicded that I should play half par golf. so I arranged the holes in a way that I though I could acheive that score then went after it. That also helps with the mental side because you are not thinking about your score as a total but only as a 3 hole section. If you don’t make one so what. You may finish another lower than you had planned. Was this answer helpful?
